Deanna Scammell

As a neurodivergent therapist, Deanna is passionate about providing a safe and understanding space to help people, especially neurodivergent folks, discover their strengths and authentic selves. Through a warm and encouraging approach, Deanna can help you improve self-worth, develop skill-sets to reduce sensory overload, reach your goals through ADHD coaching, help you develop emotional awareness, develop a relationship with your spiritual self, and get in tune with your body. Deanna believes that being compassionate toward ourselves, focusing on strengths and adding gentle structure into our lives is key to improving health and well-being.
Deanna uses a nervous system focused lens to help you notice patterns and shift into a calmer space using behaviour change, body-based techniques, and emotional presence. Deanna incorporates psycho-education related to neurodivergence and nervous system health into sessions. She also uses acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).
In her spare time, Deanna enjoys walking or biking with her Australian cattle dog, spending time with friends, or creating art (painting, drawing, photography).
